A round locket with its whole face cut into rays from the centre, so it flashes as it turns; a fluted bail, the back plain and stamped 9CT BK&FT — nine carat back and front. It opens on two round frames, still lined in red — for two faces, or one twice. The photographs are the front, the back, and it open.
